ES Policies
This space is used to describe some of the policies and procedure which help us to establish the best possible educational program in ES. Many other school-wide policies are contained in the school "Manual de Convivencia", found on the school webpage. Please check back often, and let me know some of the procedures and policies that you would like explained to the ES community. As always, you can write me at [email protected].
Homework is often a hot topic for students and families. Although it´s a great opportunity for supporting student learning, it can also be a source of great stress at home. Homework should be focused on strengthening student independence, responsibility, and academic skills/knowledge. Based on current research, ES teachers have adopted a homework policy which is located here and in all student agendas. If you have concerns about homework, please meet with or write to your child´s teacher to discuss your concerns with them.
